Joel-----The CoRe will do that---and---it's better balanced!
I found the 5X9½ DD open-frame coils on the Nokta CoRe and Relic and Racer 2 and Impact and now the Simplex + to all provide 7-of-8 or 8-of-8 on my Nail Board Test, keeping in mind that in dense iron you do not want to sweep too fast or it can degrade the performance
As far as balance is concerned, the CoRe and Relic just seem to be a really nice 'fit'
for me and they balance wonderfully. On level ground the Simplex+ is almost that good, but not quite. That said, some find the CoRe and Relic to not balance as well due to grip design, grip angle, or they use a longer rod extension.
All-in-all, however, the Simplex + and the new 5X9½ DD work well for 'scouting' or hunting the 'fringe area' of ghost towns where there is less trash. They do not meet the performance level of those models when using an
'OOR' or 5" DD coil in the nastiest of debris.
