A couple of the interesting models I've never tried.thinking

That's what I keep complaining about. I will still stay the best feeling detector was the orig. Deteknix Quest Pro with the 5x9 coil. The Q40 was pretty nice as well. As a straight shaft set-up.

Sven, these, due to some lawsuits, are not heavily promoted in the USA, but when they first came out, and with the Quest Pro's change to the 2nd version, I was interested in trying out both a Quest Pro and Quest Q40. One reason is because I saw a link to a 5" round DD coil made for them and we still don't have a 5' DD from Nokta / Makro for their own Simplex +.sad smiley

I liked the looks of the physical package, the smaller of the two coils that came with the 2-coil Pro Package, and from most of the reviews I've watched, although few in number, most of the users had favorable things to say about them. I sure don't need to buy any more detectors and am desperately trying to thin out a few I bought this past several weeks that are all new. Ran me a bit short of $$$. No room on my den wall if I bought one, but .... I am curious how well they might perform compared side-by-side with some of those I own and use.
