Most folk think of Texas as being a really big state that is dusty an desert-like as seen in so many western movies. They need to watch the parts where those cowpunchers are dealing with a lot of rain showers, cloudbursts and thunderstorms. I might be ab to get out today or tomorrow, when the storm eases up, but we had a real soaker here last night and this morning, and showers will continue for a day or two.
My Tesoro's an Apex's will get a break because I'll be using my Simplex + w/5X9½ DD just in case a 'get-wet' episode sneaks up on me ... and that can happen. Add to that the fact my mobility makes it take a lot longer to get back to my vehicle, especially since I can't 'scurry-along' anymore. Need a detector in-hand that can endure the wetness.
