I get asked quite often for settings on each of these models, and since they share the same physical configuration and really cover all the same types of General Purpose to Special Purpose hunting needs, I'll list settings I have for both.
Adding one I forgot to mention: It's not that I forgot, it's simply that I never use it and that is the front-located rocker switch to turn Auto Track On or Off. On my CoRe and Relic units, or any other detector I use, 'Tracking' is always Off because I prefer to be in control of that setting function.
Nokta FORS CoRe:
** Note that I first enter all of my preferred settings for each mode and then I go to Di3, or 3-Tone, to save all settings. That way, whenever I turn the detector on, it comes on in the 3-Tone mode which I prefer to use most of the time. Why? Because I am most often searching very trashy sites, especially those with Iron Nails or other small ferrous debris such as Rusty Tin. Also, I keep the small 4.7X5.2 Double-D coil mounted full time.
GEN, or General Purpose, is the Threshold-based All Metal mode.

Nokta FORS Relic:
** Note that I have two of this model and keep the round 5" DD on my main-use Relic and the mid-size open-frame 5X9.5 on my 2nd unit. I use this set-up when working sparse to moderate trashy areas and when Iron Nails are the primary ferrous debris.
Once all settings are in each mode function I 'save' my 1st Relic in Di3 and my 2nd Relic in Di2.

To Add:. I have never found radical adjustment settings to prove very beneficial and try to keep my setting 'simple' yet 'functioal' on any detector as long as 'performance' is the result.
