Not sure what you mean about ratchet pinpointing. Unless you mean de-tuning by pressing the pinpoint again. Will have to check that. Due to knee surgery only had about an hours time to play with the a couple weeks ago. Did update this past Sunday and put in about 2 hours of bench time yesterday testing Canadian clad coins. If I recall the pin-point volume gets louder when the target is closer to the coil, didn't think it was too loud, would have to check again. An added pinpoint volume control would be a plus--maybe in a future update?
