Nothing has changed as far as how you run the update. 7 is the installed the same exact way. My suggestion would be to delete the old update tool then totally reinstall the now update tool again. Also make sure you give your computer time to recognize that you plugged in your machine. This part seems to be a bit slow I noticed. I had to plug in my machine a few different time to get my computer to find/recognize that I plugged the machine in. Never could get the update tool to work with my Mac computer. It is kinda old, not to old i would think. Had to use my sons PC.
