It could have been, but they didn't offer a smaller coil. Great machine until ya hit the ghost towns loaded with iron /rusted tin junk. A 9" coil, even if 5" wide won't cut it. It's the machine that could have been......but once again Nokta Makro in there more than stupid Wizdom decided to hobble a what could have been a really good detector.
