They need to put it in inches for us old fogies with lapsing memories!

The letters indicate the detector model the coil is for.
The numbers is the diameter in centimeters.
SP==Simplex
LG==Legend
KR==Kruzer
AF==Anfibio
If there is a letter after the numbers KR18C
The C==concentric
Knowing this makes it easier to identify the coils N/M produce.
