OregonGreggLOL. All I will say is mine got shipped back the next day..........and this is mostly a family-oriented site..............so I'll leave it at that ...........plus they haven't made a machine yet that will unmask like a Core and Relic with their small coils
That was about as fast as I thought it would take you.
Right again when it comes to the CoRe and Relic.

OregonGreggAnd I'm with TimberTodd, I like the 15Khz ............should just rename it the Amazing kHz
I went to a 15 kHz unit in 1977, and used them mainly until July of '83 when most of my best-performing units have operated at 10 kHz to 15 kHz. Nokta / Makro gave us a really good detector at 12 kHz, the Simplex+, then they let us down by NOT making a good
'OOR' or 5" coil for or it, or even the 7" Concentric.

and.....SMF is just new-age gimmickry for the folks in the marketing dept.
In many ways that is kind of correct. Some SMF's with the right settings and a good coil can do okay in some search conditions, but .... my preference is to have a good detector without the 'fluff' that works well and lets me pick the frequency. Even my SMF Garrett Apex is often worked with the selected 15 kHz which I like.
