I received an early 'Test' prototype, #07, and I didn't have a problem with MY wired headphone preference. I had two Impact's since that unit was stolen and all of them worked fine using both of MY headphones..
Now I will add that the initial unit audio was not great with their wireless headphones, and OregonGregg checked it out and liked the unit, but not the audio. Not enough Volume and sort of a muffled-like audio response. He was using the White's Pro Stars and I also had a set of them and they did sound a bit wimpy.
My preferred corded headphones are the Killer B 'Wasp' and 'Hornet' which use a 150 Ohm speaker and have a switch for full audio or an adjusted response that isn't as 'brilliant', but both settings worked fine on both of my headphone models.
I also tried a set of Grey Ghost headphones I had on-hand, that worked fine, too. They were the original GG headphones wich also use a 150 Ohm speaker.
