The Mars Lion 7" coil for the Fors CoRe. I know nothing about Mars coils, rarely read about them on the forums. Their build quality looks very good, but that doesn't say a thing for the electronics and performance. Anyone put in enough time with one to give their thoughts on one?

I used it briefly quite a while back. That coil seemed to like the rusted tin a little better and wanted to make all the tin sound great. Although rusted tin gives all detectors a fit, my other coils at times would give clues such as a scratchy audio signal or very jumpy VDI's etc.

That coil didn't wanna do that. Outside of old sites It prob would be a good coil......but I can't say. Will have to wait and see what TimberTodd thinks about it. Plus I had the oor coil for my small coil and the 9.5 x 5 for a mid, both great coils so really didn't need the Mars 7"
