Your post makes me wonder about the future of my Legend (when warranty runs out).------I guess I'm "good to go" with it for almost three years yet.

I have the Mulit Kruzer. Just out of warranty it started to leak and would overload due to water inside. I was able to dry it out and re-seal the unit and was curious if I could just buy a new control box. None available but I could have bought a new Anfibio control box for nearly $500. Not worth the money as the Kruzers were lighter and better performers as they weren't as high in gain.
Recently the internal battery will just run down to 1/2 power after a couple of hours of use. I have an external battery pod that I use with it when water hunting but on land the external pod makes the machine bit on the heavy side.
I have tried 4x now with USA support on getting an internal battery that I can put in myself and I get 0, zippo, naddah in response.
My only option is to remove the internal battery and if the machine won't start with pod only I may have to put in a jumper on the old battery pins.
Nokta likes to discontinue and NOT support older products. They just abandon them and the user is on their own.
Unlike Garrett who on a single prompt phone call or email will repair machines regardless of warranty status.
If my Multi Kruzer dies again it will just be scrapped and I will get a viper coil for my AT Pro for fresh water hunting.
I also have a Gold Racer and if that dies it too will be a throw away machine if I can't fix it myself.
My past experiences with Nokta support and current experience leaves me no choice but not to purchase any of their products in the future no matter how great people say they are. No machine is worth anything if you can't repair it.
Sorry to Nokta but they lost my business.
