Nokta has been very quick to respond to consumer demand with new product and software updates to everybody’s delight and praise. They have also been quick to move on down the road of progress. Their products are markedly less expensive than the Minelabs, XP’s, Garrett’s, Fisher’s and so forth, so there you go. Product churn.

See the same thing in many consumer electronics. Like phones for instance.

If you like your flip phone or old detector, and it still works, keep using it. I had my iPhone 6 until this last year, replaced 2 failed batteries and it finally stopped working properly. Got a new phone. And now it has already been superseded by something else. I don’t feel inclined to have the latest greatest phone so I’m good.
