3½ years and counting ... And the Winner is?

Nokta Detectors and Makro Detectors

Not low-cost kid's-grade detectors but serious devises made for the savvy adventurists who frequent the various Forums and get out detecting often. Oregon Gregg saw the post from Dilek and gave me a call and we talked about the remarkable progress we have seen of quality-built and reliable detectors since mid-2014.

What have we seen that was NEW and not just dressed up with a new face decal and name change from the other companies? What has hit the market from mid-2014 to now from any major detector maker with a serious metal detector? How many from Fisher? From Garrett? From Minelab? From Teknetics? From White's? From XP?

You need more digits than two hands for this, because from Nokta and Makro we have had (or will when Dilek says they'll ship in February) the following:

1.. Nokta FORS Gold
2.. Nokta FORS CoRe
3.. Makro Racer
4.. Nokta FORS Gold+
5.. Makro Gold Racer
6.. Nokta Au Gold
7.. Makro Racer 2
8.. Nokta FORS Relic
9.. Nokta Impact
... and now ...
10. Makro Gold KRUZER
11. Makro KRUZER
12. Makro Multi-KRUZER

Unless I missed a model, that's an even dozen new detectors, for special application use or for general everyday hunting, designed, field tested, to final production and ready for market in a quality-built platform. I don't really see much in the way of competition from any of the big names in the detector industry, and this brings up a point I have been trying to get across for 3 years now.

Nokta Detectors and Makro Detectors ARE A BIG NAME IN THIS INDUSTRY!!

Now, it's half an hour until noon so I am headed off for some detecting with my Nokta and Makro companions. winking smiley thumbs up
