Eric, a few questions for you, if you don't mind.

Monte, do you have any suggestions about how someone new to the Muilti Kruzer should set it up to hunt in iron infested sites?
Thank you for any help.
Eric
Q #1.. Have you bought a new Kruzer or are you just contemplating one?

Q #2.. Have you only been using the original Racer, or also a Racer 2?

Q #3.. Which accessory search coils do you intend to have for a Multi-Kruzer?

My 'simple' answer is that I set mine up almost exactly like I have the Racer 2 so far as Tone Breaks, Audio Tone assignments, Discrimination, Gain, etc. There are some adjustments that I might tweak a little differently, and I am sure others might set their units up for their own hearing or to adapt to their type of hunting wants or needs.

Shoot me some quick answers and I'll grab my settings for you. In the densely iron littered old sites we like to hunt, I still prefer the processed 3-Tone mode, but in light to moderately littered sites 2-Tone usually gets the nod.
