Something New

My Racer 2 has been doing a solid job for me as I get to know it better and it proved itself again on a short outing last week by adding 3 additional rings to this years finds (making 4 for the year). I picked up another mans Tungsten band, a mans sterling inner / damascus steel outer band and a womans white gold band with what appears to be quite a few small diamonds. It came in solid on the Racer 2 target ID 25-28.

I was running the stock 11'' coil, 2 tones, ID Filter at 18, Gain at 85. It ground balanced at 53. I pulled up a pretty good portion of pull tabs, flattened soda cans, bottle caps, fishing sinkers, a couple pieces of rusty tin and some clad, but nothing I would complain about.

The Racer 2 is doing a very nice job, is light in hand, fast to respond and just seems to find stuff. I like that.

Gold jewelry can span quite a range of conductivities.
