It's the 'original' Coinmaster Classic III which uses the older 4B (I'm pretty sure) search coils and is not designed for most of the Blue Max series coils. It would use the same search coil as the Coinmaster Classic II or newer-style Classic II (in case the one you have should fail), and in many ways I feel it is more functional than the Coinmaster Classic III Plus (with the Frequency Adjust control) that came standard with the 950 coil because the good old standard 8" was really a better "general purpose" search coil size.

If the internals are good and all is working well circuitry and performance wise, a good outside cleaning would help and leave you with a better looking "turn-on-and-go" White's model that can work well for many hunting tasks you might encounter.

Glad to hear you bought a good working specimen.

It's an early Coinmaster Classic III or III Plus.
