Congrats to you and your team of White's detectors.

From what I heard you had to brave the elements to enjoy the day, or you had a break in the dreary rain event. You said the old school 'site' and referred to Hillsboro. I'm on the opposite side of the state and haven't been around there much since I moved from Hillsboro almost six years ago. Was this a former school location or did they demolish the old high school and tear things up around there?

Congrats on concluding the year with a pair of silver coins, even if one is just about as ugly as you could imagine. Back about twenty years ago a friend found a Seated Liberty 50ยข piece here where I live in some renovation we were working. It was from the 1850's and if I recall it was even more worn that your coin. Another friend found a Morgan Silver $1 in my all-time favorite ghost town of 'Twin Flats,' Utah that was so smooth it was very difficult to make out any detail at all to identify it. I always wonder how some coins can get so heavily worn down?

Two silvers and Two wheat-backs must have been almost Too good to imagine when you set out to hunt. Not a big fan of those oversize coils but the M6 is still a good performer just like when they introduced it. Best of success when you get out again.
