My favorite detector ever would be.......

The IDX Pro modified by the real Mr.Bill, this would be my choice. This slow motion, quick response and fast recovery instrument has been responsible for many old coins and relics. Too numerous to list since I bought it new in 2007. Just install a smaller than stock concentric coil on it and take it to an old site and be patient and swing slow and it will produce for you. The Threshold and Ground Balance modification makes a BIG difference when swapping coils. I like the 8" Royal 800 , 5.3 BullsEye and Ferret HotHead coils.
