A simpler time.....

From another post that Monte posted:

"Also, when it gets huntable again to go back to Lone Tree, Lonesome Arch, Lost or Switchback ... or maybe even just Rippville, we are going to each use our modified IDX Pro's w/6½" coils and have a little duplicate model hunting fun. I had mine out for some comparisons when he visited and for those who think older models can't match some of the newer stuff ... well, they haven't used some good older models."

Yep, I look forward to it. Will make for a fun day. The only problem is its been awhile since we have had our modified IDX Pro's out. And with the GB mod I can't remember if I power balance it, bob the coil up and down, while triggering the PP toggle or not ??? I hope you can remember how to ground balance those things with the mod.

If all else fails I can use my Classic ID, about as simple as it gets smiling smiley

Yep, my modified IDX Pro w/6½" is a very reliable and proven unit. N/T
