I don't think so ... And I do remember those days.

Good Heavens Gregg, you have more detectors than Monte does.
Counting his emergency back-ups, Gregg has more FORS CoRe's and Racer 2's than I do, but total detectors? I don't think so. My 'Signature' below shows the number of different models I have in my Regular-Use Outfit, but if you count ALL the detectors I have here at home, to include my Regular-Use, Specialty-Use and Seminar-Use models (to include those that I will be thinning out) there are the following:

1- Compass Coin Hustler
2- Fisher F-44's
1- Garrett Hunter BFO
1-Garrett Money Hunter TR-Disc.
1-Garrett Master Hunter TR-Disc.
1- Garrett American S2 TR-Disc.
1- Makro Racer 2
1- Nokta FORS CoRe
2- Nokta FORS Relic
1- Nokta / Makro Simplex +
1-Teknetics T2+
2- Tesoro Bandido II µMAX
1- Tesoro Silver µMAX
2- Tesoro Silver Sabre µMAX
1- White's modified IDX Pro
1- White's XLT
1-White's 6000 Di Series 3 factory hip-mount

No, I don't think Gregg has quite that many around his place.

A simpler time for me was when I was using just 1 detector. confused smiley
Yes, those early days were simple. Just grab a detector and go hunt. No picking-and-choosing. That's how I was from early '65 until late '71, and it's been no fewer than 2 or 3 units on-hand ever since then.
