Got out today for 4 hours. Decided to hit an old Portland park, and headed where infrastructure was located at turn of the century. I should have had a machete instead of the MX sport. Managed a 1904s barber dime and a couple of heavily gold plated Victorian jewelry items wading in ivy with the 7" coil. Switched to the v3i on the park periphery and pulled a 1918s wheat in 15 mins before i got too cold. Nice to get out on a sunny winter day. Wish the barber had been a bit less worn as it would have held a fair amount of value.
