Thank you Monte, was out the last three days. My coin count has doubled worked many more targets. I went to a old school yard that is considered by the locals to be hunted out Using you search technique I found 14 coins a big brass compression ring and a 6 inch piece of copper pipe . THis was in a area that I have hunted hundreds of time. Just a area of 30 feet by 20 feet. A short hunt of a hour and a half yesterday. My my more than I found there in the last year. The other days were spent at a fairground where I recovered 5 coins each day. Nothing old but still a small area that is hunted to death. The depth of the coins from surface to Six inches. Not deep but sure enough coins that I missed.

One of the downfalls of increased age and decreased mobility.

WM6, it was a different era, a younger and healthier me, and our Coin Hunting likely differs from yours.
