Made it back to the old park again today. Took the MX Sport with the 7" detec to beat around the brush. No silver today, but i did strike gold!
Managed a 1902 IHC, a 1950d wheat, 2 novelty tokens, and a 7.5g 14k white gold mens ring with diamonds. Had the date 1959 engraved, and didn't show signs of wear, so guessing it's been waiting a long time to be found. Must have looked very different in the early 60s to find it where i did...not expecting that! Wonder what its story was...
Also found no fewer than 5 coin spills today. Most nondescript, but one contained 5 quarters, 7 dimes, 5 pennies, and a nickel for 18 coins...a record for me. Lets just say the vdis were a bit confused! Interestingly, coins were 1 inch all the way to 5 inches, in an area that i cant imagine has seen human dirt movement...moles? All clad.
Hope everyone is having an enjoyable weekend!
