The cost, and the value, of a modified Classic or IDX Pro.

Rich, the value to an avid detector user was well worth the investment. For one thing, White's did not offer any upscale model that had Ground Balance and provided the slow motion, quick response and fast recovery of the Classic series.

White's Classic models gave the consumers a detector that came very close to matching the Tesoro detector line, but Tesoro offered some models, like the Bandido or Pantera, that had manual GB. White's obviously missed the boat on that one. Therefore, the 'Mr. Bill' modifications gave us Tesoro-like performance that used White's coils and with the Classic ID and IDX Pro we also benefited from having Target ID. Nothing fancy or high-tech, but for the average Coin Hunter the Target ID worked well.

Had to add to the fact that many people already had the Classic model so it was just a matter of sending it in for the upgrade.
