Monte - very glad that you are feeling well enough to get back on the forum. That certainly says a lot about your recovery. Keep taking care of yourself!
And, thank you. Very kind to give the suggestion you gave. I've been all over that hill from center to the west, but not on the east. Guess in my mind I saw the west (sunset, PDX, reservoirs, etc) being the area that was probably trafficked most. I suspect it saw plenty of traffic, but it has also seen more than a few detectorists. I will give it a go.
I even summoned the courage

to wade through poison oak hill yesterday, and while i did find a couple of Victorian era items, nothing of meaningful significance showed up. Unfortunately, i spent some time putting plugs back in from a shovel wielding slob who just kicked them out of holes the day before and left them lying randomly about the surface. Would someone do that in their own lawn? Enough rant, but it boggles my mind.
Anyway, one more day to try to get #20. We shall see!
