A neighbor had a circa 1935 home they moved out of. Told me i could detect when they were gone. Had high hopes as the old store was 100 yards away. Hope dies last:-)
Ended up with 2 buffalo's, some wheat, and a couple of early advertising pieces, a parking token from Walla Walla for a bank founded in 1869 and a Chicago based watch fob circa 1905. The HSB company was the originator of the True Value brand. Interesting old piece.
I can tell the material i was digging was backfill, so I'm not sure if they hauled these in or if an earlier home was on the site and was leveled. Some other early pieces of brass junk also predated the home.
Not many signals besides modern clad. Half the yard is too grown up to get a coil to the soil. Afraid its played out til a big snow or a bull dozer.
