I don't know why White's has ignored the 9" Concentric.confused smiley

They use a 9" 'spider' Concentric coil on their budged-priced, made in China Xventure, and the Coinmaster and the TreasureMaster. The home-built 9" 'spider' or open-frame Concentric was a standard coil on the MX-5 (now Discontinued) and it was part of a 2-coil introduction of the 'All' stickered MXT Pro with a 10" D2 DD coil. But that was it. confused smiley

A nicely balanced coil with a 'modern' appearance compared with the old 950 Concentric coil, and it balances better than the 950, works better as a wading search coil, and is just 'better.' A nice looking, nice working newer coil design, but they instead use the old-style, and kind of ugly-looking '950' on their M6, MX-3, and it is offered for the MX-Sport and a standard coil on the new MX-7.

I think they ought to revitalize the 9" Concentric open-frame coil and offer it for the MX-7, MX Sport, and the older models like the V3i, VX3, MXT series, M6, and MX-5. Just don't know why they have stuck with the 950. confused smiley The 9" works much better for wading or Beach Hunting than the floatable 950, too.

I'll add one small exception to my MX-7 coil choices.
