What is Past Encounters?

Past Encounters is our periodic newsletter will offer an opportunity for article contributions, product reviews, and news and dates related to pending AHRPS activities.  Registered ‘associates’ will have access to our newsletter, as well as to our Forums.  It is the goal of AHRPS to provide a website, meetings, seminars and shows that are cordial and non-biased.  Through participation there will be opportunities to help protect and preserve the rights of recreational activities for coin hunters, relic hunters, and metal detectorists in general.  Coin and artifact identification, cleaning, and preservation can aid the individual hobbyists, as well as serve to assist federal, state, local and private historical preservation efforts.
